Director of Operations
Jennifer N. Brown (she/her) manages the details of running the organization (finance, HR, administration) so the staff who work with educators, parents, and the community can focus on what they do best and have the systems and support they need to do it.
Jennifer brings more than 30 years of non-profit management and fundraising experience in education, social justice, public interest, and political advocacy organizations to BELONG Partners. She has an MS in Management and a Certificate in Fundraising Management.
Before she started working at BELONG Partners, Jennifer a workshop for educators. She was blown away from day one and felt that she acquired powerful tools that all of us can use in our lives – not just teachers in classrooms. Jennifer feels proud to be a part of an organization that helps build lifelong skills and tools that can shift how we all treat one another.
What drew you to BELONG Partners?
I was drawn to the work of BELONG Partners first when I saw the job opportunity because it was the kind of position I gravitate toward. But it was the mission that really piqued my interest. I was having challenges with my pre-teen child and was hopeful I would get some tools to help us. I indeed got some help right off the bat and have gained more tools and skills with each subsequent BELONG Partners class/workshop I have attended. It has been transformational for our family.
