Facilitator
As a Facilitator, Roshaé Lowe (she/her) leads professional development trainings and workshops for educators, administrators, parents, and community members. Additionally, she coaches and collaborates with educators to make crucial changes in school cultures and systems. Roshaé also partners with administrators and school staff to implement and develop relevant social emotional learning as well as to support shifts in educators’ pedagogical approaches and practices. She also translates BELONG Partners external communications to school leaders and families into Spanish.
Prior to BELONG Partners, Roshaé facilitated Spanish language workshops for the employees of Western Washington University with a particular focus on building the cultural competency of those adult learners. Her years of experience working alongside and supporting underserved, marginalized communities continue to inform her current work with schools and communities.
Roshaé has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociopolitical Equity from Western Washington University. As an undergraduate, she had a handful of secondary studies, including Black Studies; Education & Social Justice; and Political Science. Roshaé sits on the Board of Directors at two amazing organizations: Communities in Schools of Washington State and Northwest Children’s Foundation.
What are people most surprised to learn about you?
I am very organized when it comes to my personal library. Thanks to a friend, I have an excel sheet I use to catalog and keep track of which books are being borrowed.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Snuggling up with my cat and favorite buddy, Serafina. And whenever I can, I love to catch up with my friends and family over Facetime!

BELONG Partners mission and vision to fold in critical social emotional learning, making SEL alongside other restorative practices an integral part of classrooms, schools, districts, and communities resonates deeply with me.
