Director of advancement
As the Director of Advancement at BELONG Partners, Walden Winters (they/them) leads our fundraising strategy including grants, memberships, and individual giving. Walden graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and recently earned their CFRE. Walden is passionate about literacy and decarceration that extends into out school systems.
What is your proudest moment?
I recently relocated to Seattle, Washington from Austin, Texas and am proud of taking that leap!
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love to read, the good and the trashy! I love hosting dinner parties for friends and caring for animals at my local shelter.
What drew you to BELONG Partners?
As the child of two hardworking teachers, I was drawn to BELONG Partners’ commitment to equity in education and their focus both on the broad issues facing our education systems while simultaneously holding space for the individual students and their families.
