Operations Coordinator
Zefanya Rampengan (she/her) is the Operations Coordinator at BELONG Partners, working to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the organization.
Zefanya started her administrative experience with Gordon James Realty as an administrative assistant. With a growing desire to be a part of organizations dedicated to social impact, Zefanya brought her administrative experience to Americans for Financial Reform as an Operations Associate. After moving to Seattle from Washington, DC, Zefanya joined BELONG Partners to continue to contribute her penchant for organization and systems.
Zefanya graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.
What is one of your proudest moments?
My proudest moment was graduating from college. I had to pay my way through college by working and going to classes at the same time. I like to attribute my organizational skills to this experience.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work?
The whole cooking process: from walking around the grocery store, to the mise en place, to the chopping and cooking. Although, it’d be great if washing dishes wasn’t a part of the cooking process.
What drew you to BELONG Partners?
I was drawn to BELONG Partners commitment to ensuring a positive learning environment for children. I was a part of an after-school program for Asian American youth that was integral to my experience as a student in high school preparing for college. I believe organizations like these, and BELONG Partners, are important for the community, especially for communities of color.
