
Marcus W. Stubblefield is a senior public sector policy strategist and trusted advisor with more than 20 years of experience advancing legislative, fiscal, and systems-change initiatives across criminal justice, public safety, racial equity, and community services. He is known for providing objective, nonpartisan analysis and translating complex policy issues into clear, actionable strategies for elected officials, executive leaders, and community stakeholders.
Most recently, Marcus served as Criminal Justice Policy & Strategy Section Manager in the King County Executive Office, where he advised senior leadership on policy, budget, and operational priorities impacting community outcomes. He led multi-agency initiatives, supported regional policy efforts, developed implementation frameworks, monitored legislative activity, and strengthened coordination among jurisdictions, service providers, and community organizations.
Marcus also brings extensive experience in cross-system collaboration, youth development, and violence prevention, leading efforts that improved alignment, reduced duplication, and advanced equity-centered outcomes for youth and families.
Currently, Marcus serves as a Strategic Advisor and Consultant, partnering with government agencies and nonprofit organizations to strengthen strategy, organizational effectiveness, community engagement, and systems alignment in support of safer, healthier communities.
