Professional Development for Educators and Adults Who Work with Youth.

Our workshops help educators, and others who work with youth, to build classroom communities and environments which model an inclusive culture that promotes student and youth agency and well-being.

We focus primarily on shifting adult perception and behavior so that adults and children can build relationship and integrate new practices into classrooms, homes, schools, districts, and communities. Our programs support comprehensive, deep, and resilient cultural change.

We offer online, in-person, and hybrid model workshops. You can find more information below, on our Workshops & Events page, or contact us to talk about bringing a workshop to your school or organization.

Reimagining Resilience 1: Using a Trauma Lens

Participants learn effective ways to build positive relationships with children who have experienced trauma. Teachers, parents, and other adults working closely with kids gain the skills they need to make sure that every child knows that they matter and belong.

Reimagining Resilience 2: Developing Firmness Tools

Participants learn how to maintain and strengthen relationships with children who have experienced trauma by developing firmness tools that center relationships. Educators and others who work with kids gain skills and practical tools to hold youth accountable in a way that ensures that every child knows that they matter and belong.

Rooted Relationships: Growing Equitable Classroom Communities

Imagine a room filled with young people who are engaged in learning, contribute to problem-solving, and help build their own community. This 12-15 hour workshop brings together the most helpful and practical tools from the latest brain science research, culturally responsive teaching, trauma and attachment theory, and social-emotional learning.

Parenting with Courage and Connection

We work with schools, PTAs, communities, and parents to deliver Parenting with Courage and Connection workshops for schools, childcare centers, and community organizations. Our parenting classes are currently offered online via Zoom or in-person.
